Gabriella Ferrara '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gabby Ferrara and I am a versatile soccer player who has always been easily coachable. My dream is to play soccer in college and to pursue a career in a field that contributes to an athlete's development. When not playing soccer I am often watching professional soccer games and enjoy coaching young kids in soccer. I have played for South Shore Select since I was in 4th grade and have worked hard to move up from the lowest team to National Academy League this year. My teams have won many tournaments and made it to the NPL nationals the past two years. I have experienced injuries but have worked hard with a physical therapist to come back even stronger. During the past two years I have been the co-captain of my team and take pride in being a good leader and role model who is constantly playing and always instructing and encouraging my teammates. In school I take all advanced classes and have been a member of the orchestra playing the bass since 5th grade. I have achieved high honors throughout my freshman year.  In addition to club soccer I played soccer for my high school team, futsal in the winter and ran the mile and two mile for varsity winter and spring track qualifying for the patriot league championships. I will always put in 100% of my effort and leave everything on the field.
