Kathryn Leland '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kathyrn Leland. I really started playing soccer when I was ten years old. Although I had started later than many of the girls my age, I quickly developed a love for the game and have continued to improve ever since. I would love nothing more than to play soccer at a collegiate level as I hope to eventually play professionally. Every time that I play, I step out onto the field with a unfaltering determination to win and to advance as an individual as well as a team. My undying passion for the game is why I strive to become the best player that I can be. In terms of general athletics, I would describe myself as strong and fit with a willingness to further develop my body through training. I approach school the same way that I approach soccer, with self-motivation and focus. In soccer, in school, and in life, I always try to keep in mind that "success is no accident.
