Desiree Crawford'...Personal Statement
Good day, my name is Desiree Crawford. I am part of the class of 2019 at Springfield Renaissance High School in Springfield MA. I play forward and outside midfield. I have been captain since sophomore year. Fortunately, I have been able to play on the varsity team since I was in 7th grade. I started each year and was able to score 125 goals and 46 assists. I am an All State Soccer Player for the 2017 season. I have made All Western Mass Selections for the past 3 years.
I also have been playing premier soccer since I was 11 years of age. I began playing for the Pioneer Valley Storm team out of Chicopee, Massachusetts. I am currently playing for GPS Euro West team (Jersey #1). I joined GPS last year looking for more competitive play in order to further improve my soccer skills. Not only did I want to improve my soccer skills but I also wanted to become more physical and confident. This past season, my team and I placed first in the New England Premiership D1 division.
