Mia Herron '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mia Herron. I am a passionate and dedicated soccer player and I am highly interested in taking my playing to the next level. I play soccer all four seasons of the year as a goalkeeper with two different teams. I attend Nipmuc Regional High School in Upton, MA, and I am currently playing for the Varsity soccer team. I participate in the summer league soccer program through my high school as well as playing the annual fall season. During the fall, winter, and spring, I play with my club team, Scorpions SC. I play for the 05/06 ECNL Regional team. I have a great coaching staff and also some personal Goalkeeping training through my club, school, and privately, to make sure I’m always progressing and sharpening my position. In addition to soccer, school and academics are very important to me and remain a priority. Although finding a balance between sports and school can be challenging, finding and maintaining balance between friends, family, school, and soccer is always prioritized and incredibly important. I have always been a competitor and I am a hardworking student and athlete. I put 100% effort into everything that I do, no matter the occasion or circumstances behind it. With this, I do my best to stay humble to the people around me. I have a leader mentality and tend to take on roles that have me leading a group and helping everyone, while still being open minded and kind. One of the reasons I enjoy being a goalie so much is because I enjoy being a leader, while also having fun with my position. With the constant shifting of teams and coaches, you have to learn a lot. I like having this challenge as it helps me to progress as an athlete and have a strong, open, and healthy mindset. For college soccer, I want to be on a team with a good environment and spirit. Playing locally is not a priority, as I will take any opportunity as a big one. I would be honored to have any colleges or coaches consider me as an option. I am willing to share any information, answer questions, show gameplay clips, etc. to any and all coaches that want to learn more about me!
