Personal Statement

I have always had a goal to participate in college soccer. I hope to graduate high school with a 3.9 GPA. In college, I wish to major in Elementary Education. I’m a good candidate because I am a very hard worker, and I’m also strong willed, so I won’t give up easily. I’m different from other recruits because I care a lot about soccer, my teammates and my academics. I have a good balance between soccer and academics, so I have been able to succeed on the pitch and also in the classroom. I have been the captain of my club team for 7 years. I helped my team become state cup champions in 2020. I started every game as a freshman and sophomore on our varsity team. Freshman year I was an all district honorable. Sophomore year I was all district, all league, and my teams offensive MVP. I’m also enrolled in honors math and science classes and I have been able to maintain at 3.92 GPA.
