Personal Statement
My whole life I've been surrounded by soccer, to the point where I no longer see it as just a game or something to do. I see soccer as a part of me, a part of my life that's irreplaceable. Soccer has pushed me to not just be a better athlete but a better person, I learn how to be a leader, how to work with other people, how to take failure, and learn from it. I continue to learn more about the game, and myself every day. I believe the most important thing I've learned is leadership qualities. Without soccer, I wouldn’t be the strong confident leader I am today. I continue to use and practice those leadership qualities whenever I can.
Playing for a school that fits my needs academically but also having a competitive soccer team is my goal. Playing for an ECNL soccer team for three years now has built up my competitive spirit. Whatever team I play for I will always play my hardest to reach success for my team. Due to COVID-19 my soccer seasons have been in question, but no matter what I will continue to push myself to be the best player I can be.
