Coaches,
I am a very dedicated person. From my first days on the court as a little kid I always wanted to get better each day. Starting Freshman year on JV, I was leading scorer and I was voted MVP for the year. I got moved up to Varsity for regionals. Sophomore year there was no question as to if i would make varsity. I had improved my game a lot. After one game I was a starter my sophomore year on varsity. I decided that it was time for me to join a travel basketball team and get better at my game. I am a starter on my travel team as well.
The thought of becoming a college athlete is something I have always wanted from the start. As well as basketball I have played soccer for well over 10 years. Soccer was always what I wanted to play in college, but just something about basketball struck me and caused me to leave the sport that I once loved. I was quite good at soccer too. Making it to regional ODP as a goalkeeper was a hard task. Basketball took over as the new focus the past two years and it will be for rest of my life.
I am an amazing rebounder. My wingspan is 6 1 and it definitely helps. I am also a great team player, when I have the ball I can always find the open player for a nice easy three to the outside, but as well I can take the ball to the basket for a nice simple layup myself. My academics are also a big priority in my life. I maintain a very high GPA (3.97) and am determined to make it even higher, just as I am with basketball and getting even better everyday on the court.
