My passion for the field of psychology stems from wanting to understand the behaviors of humans. Over the past couple of years, I have gained an interest in the human mind and its functions. Although, one thing I would hope to be able to do in college is to maintain my studies while still playing the sport I love. I constantly put in the time and effort to exceed the standards of everyone surrounding me in my life. I enjoy hearing constructive criticism, for this is what helps me to develop to the next step in not only an athletic career but also myself as a student and individual.
Besides playing soccer, I have also been involved in the student council for my school. Through this, I have mainly acquired good leadership skills that carry over on the field, encouraging and guiding my teammates. Another activity that has helped me is the Odyssey of the Mind. I have participated in OM for 9 years, and I believe it has guided me to become a creative person overall. But, I think Odyssey of the Mind has mostly taught me to test my limits, athletically and academically by problem-solving.
