Grace VerHage '18 Recruiting Profile

Through my accomplishments, honors and recognition on my past high school and club teams, I have proven that I can be successful and have the inner desire to pursue excellence at a higher level of play. In the past four years, I have been an integral part of multiple conference, district, regional and state championship teams through soccer, cross country and basketball.  Currently, I am striving to break the school record for the most amount of goals scored throughout a player's high school varsity soccer career with 75 goals going into my senior year and aspirations to break the 100 goals mark.  Also, I lead my team in assists to help the overall team success. Upon completion of high school season, I have continued to perform to the best of my ability by leading my travel teams in goals as well as being a solid play maker and captain like figure on and off the field. I understand the importance of perseverance, hard work, self sacrifice and setting personal as well as team goals to achieve success in the collegiate level.  While competing in three sports year round, I have maintained over a 4.0 GPA, held a variety of leadership roles and volunteered in many community activities.
