From the age of 4 years old, all I wanted to do was play soccer. For many years, I played on older teams where the players played at the level I needed to challenge me. I strived at every practice, at every game to be challenged to become the best player that I could be. My greatest strengths are my natural athleticism & speed, my understanding of the game, ability to clear the ball up the field and the ability to be coached. The center back and right back defensive positions have taught me to be a leader and a game changer – on and off of the soccer field. Soccer has also taught me how to prioritize and manage my time effectively by balancing academics with practices, games and game travel. On the field, I am able to see the entire field and setup the plays. I enjoy having the responsibility of attacking the play and being the last line of defense for my team. I take it to heart any goal that is scored on my team. Off the field, academics are very important to me. I have the same mentality towards school that follows me into the classroom – hard work and dedication to achieve the best grade point average that is possible. My goal is to play soccer at the competitive collegiate level for a University that also offers academic excellence.
