Abby McKeon '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abby McKeon, and I am from Minnesota, I graduate in the year 2023.

I think I would be a good applicant for your team because I know hard work and dedication. It has always been my dream since I was little to play college soccer at a high level. Ever since I was younger, I have always been playing up. In U14 I was playing up with the U18's. Also, in the USA Cup I played up with the U17's and we played teams from Japan, Denmark, Iceland, and Canada. My team won our league last year and we ended up going to regionals but lost before making it to nationals. In 2019 I played for 2 years and we ended up winning the President day tournament in Arizona. In 2021 my team won regionals and nationals. Then again in 2022, we won nations again. In college, my goals would be to get as many opportunities as possible to play soccer and experience the full community on a soccer team. I am also very excited to get an opportunity to play at one of the highest levels of soccer.

I also do very well in school. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.95 and a weighted GPA of 4.14. Almost all my classes are honors, and next year I will be taking IB and AP classes. In my school, I am ranked 33/766 so I am within the top 4%. I also have received student of the month. I am a volunteer through NHS and I was chosen to speak at the inauguration. My goal academically would be to graduate high in my class.
