Working hard for what I want and never giving up are essential to defining who I am. When our team won the National League Regional tournament, it was the highlight of my career so far. I fought hard and and put all of my heart into it and it paid off. However, my greatest learning opportunity came from our loss at Nationals. It again taught me to never give up and keep fighting to the final minute.
I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. I don't know if you can call what I was doing at three "soccer" but there were cleats and a ball involved, so it technically was. Ever since my first game, I have felt a true love for the sport and since then I have always had a ball at my feet. I have learned a lot from soccer; teamwork, perseverance, but most importantly I gained a great work-ethic. Everything I do, I always give 110%. Whether it be doing the dishes or playing the most important game of my life, I give full effort.
I also work extremely hard on my grades in school. I want to be in the top 3% of my class graduating year, and if I put in the effort, I know I can. I am looking for a program that can help me advance both athletically and academically. I know that playing soccer at a collegiate level isn't going to be easy, but I am willing to put in the work to help your team in the future!
