Personal Statement
A couple years ago my team lost the championship, in shootout, in the biggest tournament of our season. crushed, I decided from that moment on, that would never happen again if I could help it. Every day after that for two years I did 30 minutes of footwork drills whether it was in my basement, at a hotel room, or at the beach. Then, the next year a team won state proving that my work paid off.
So, soccer has taught me how to work hard in this world but also in school. Because of that I take both soccer and school very seriously, but that doesn't stop me from having fun on and off the field. I am known for being positive and humorous, but also focused and composed when needed. I would like to be a part of a team that is motivated and hard-working, but also has a positive environment. Ideally, I would attend a university with a high academic reputation and a stellar criminal justice program. I feel with my leadership skills and my work ethic, I could make an immediate impact on your team and in your school.
