Personal Statement

My name is Natalie Lesnau and I am a 5'7" outside or center back. My passion is soccer and I have been playing since I was 7. I am in the graduating class of 2026. In my sophomore year in 2023, I moved to Minnesota and played on my high school's varsity team as a full-time center back. I also played the 6 and outside back occasionally. We took 1st in our conference but 2nd in sections. I am always a good team player because instead of talking my team down, I try my best to encourage them toward their best to help themselves, me, and my team. I am also very coachable for I will try my absolute hardest to do what my coach has told me to perfection. Another trait I have is that I am left-footed which I think is an advantage because not many people expect left-footed moves.

I also enjoy running and will always run my heart out during a game to try and stop my goalie from getting into a tough scenario. My goal for college is to not only mainly focus on soccer but also on my academics and strive to get the best grades I possibly can. I am looking to play with a very dedicated and challenging college team that will always push me. As of now, I am interested in Sports Medicine and dietary sciences and am looking into majoring in that.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
