Personal Statement
As my high school season came to end with it being senior year, I pushed myself as hard as I could to be the best I could be. I am proud to say I started every game this year and was the only non-offensive player to receive All-Conference. Before the season, I trained on an Academy team and strived to be the fittest and healthiest I have ever been. Keeping my endurance up made is possible to play all but 12 minutes this season with most of the time out of the game due to a mild sprained ankle.
Soccer has helped me grow as an individual and as a teammate. I now help coach and ref elementary school kids in our youth development program. I also coach our junior high teams during off season. My teammates and coaches I have been working with have taught me the true meaning of teamwork. My coaches have taught me that sacrifices are a part of the sport, and they have helped me overcome some injuries that I have suffered in the past. Being one of the oldest and leaders on the team, I strive to help every player and be there to support. I am looking for a program that suits me athletically and academically. I wish to keep my grades up and get the chance to become a successful college player and student.
