As I transition into the next phase of my life, I am faced with more adversity and important decisions. One of those decisions is deciding the collegiate level and programs I would like to involve myself in. I have played soccer since I was 6 and have always planned on continuing to play for as long as possible. I have also always planned to attend a 4-year college and get a degree. With these plans in mind, the next step is to decide where these plans can be executed in the best environment crafted for me. I know the game of soccer better than I know anything else, I mean, my muscle memory for the sport has been developed for over 11 years and I've dedicated each fall and spring to further knowledge and understanding of soccer. In the recent years I have even joined SLSG, meaning I have to travel 2-hours from my home in Columbia to St.Louis for higher level competition and skill. This transition was a helpful step in my understanding of positioning on the field, especially because they had me play in a polar position to my previous forward position, defense. This provided me full field knowledge of what every ones responsibility is and what my role in that is.
