Personal Statement

I am a competitive year-round soccer player (club and high school), but I am also a multi-sport athlete competing in my high school’s basketball and golf programs. In the process of playing multiple sports growing up, it became apparent that my passion for soccer surpassed any of the other sports. I was always intrigued by soccer and I love the challenge of needing to come up with new solutions to the problems I face during a soccer game.

Having to manage the academic demands of a top college preparatory school along with playing club soccer in parallel with high school varsity sports is helping me prepare to face similar challenges throughout my collegiate experience.

As a top academic achiever, I am very interested in balancing my advanced academic progress with my collegiate soccer career.
