When I was younger I was always interested in medicine and helping people. When I was 13 my dad got in a car wreck and nobody was able to save him. From that point on I had decided I want to do everything in my power to prevent people from feeling the pain my dad felt and the pain I felt when I lost him. So I want to become a trauma surgeon. I would like to attend any college that will provide me with the knowledge I need to become a surgeon.
As far as being a good candidate for a team, I believe you have to have a lot of "heart" for this sport and I can tell you that is what I have and what I play with. I am a very determined and goal oriented person, I love to compete and will do anything to win. I set goals and I achieve them because I know no one is stopping me from it besides myself. I think any athlete should be a hard worker and never take shortcuts in not only athletics, but life itself. One of the first words that comes to my mind when I think about myself is independent. I do not like relying on others, but I am most definitely a team player when it comes to sports. I am an intense player and I think my strength in this sport is defense. This game involves a lot of mental strength and I also believe I am mentally strong.
