Taylor Day ‘22 Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My name is Taylor Day and I am a midfielder on the Las Vegas Sports Academy 03/04 GA club team. In the upcoming season we are participating in the GA league and also recently won Surf Cup on July 23rd in one of the highest brackets of the tournament. Our past few seasons we went to Nationals and Regionals loosing in the quarter finals for Regionals and loosing in semi finals for Nationals. Continuing, our team has won State Cup and Desert Premier League on multiple occasions.  I am currently a senior at Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas. On my varsity high school soccer team as captain I play the 6, 8, and 10 in a 4-3-3 formation throughout our 2020-2021 season. During the season we won regionals and state this past year. Some of my strengths include great footwork on the ball, distribution of the ball, and I am also a two footed player. Additionally, I have great stamina and a love for the game. During my senior year of high school I plan to run track and field as a long distance runner. I also partake in clubs such as ViSA where I am in charge of running school events, and Mark 10:14 where I help children with mental disabilities excel in the classroom.  My main collegiate goal for 2021 is to find a school that will not only meet my athletic standards, but also my academic standards as well.
