Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Isabella Mendez (Class of 2023). As an academically driven and focussed student, I maintain a 3.4 GPA, ranking in the top 15 of my class. I am hoping for a college career that will help me grow educationally as well as athletically. I have been playing soccer since I could walk, it has been a safe space for me to express myself and push myself beyond my limits. I hope to major in Biology/Biological Sciences, which along with soccer, has been a lifelong passion of mine. Being presented with the opportunity to continue my athletic career at an institute that values academics greatly will allow me to grow as an individual, student, and athlete, as well as prove myself to be a valuable, honorable, respectful, and determined asset to the athletics team.
