Hello, I'm Savanna Hall. I'm 16 years old and I play for Conval Regional High school's women soccer team. My positions are attacking and defensive midfielder, but I can also play as an outside wing midfielder. I've been playing since I was 5 years old and I'm very dedicated to the sport. I'm also a sprinter and thrower for track and field; in which I throw Discus (99 ft) shot-put, (30ft 1in) run 100 meter dash, (13.62 seconds) and 200 meter dash (29.83 seconds). During middle school 5th graders weren't allowed to try out for the schools soccer team, so from kindergarten to 5th grade I played on the rec soccer league. Then in 6th grade myself and many others tried out for the team and I was the only one to make the team. From there I worked hard each year and by eighth grade I found myself as one of the team captains. In the spring I would then participate in track and field, making sure I was keeping active.
Throughout my middle school years I was on the high honor roll. Now in high school, I continue to be on the high honor roll. During my 7th and 8th grade years I was part of the leadership group for my school. Every year in middle school I did at least 25 hours of community service and by the end of 8th grade I had over 100 hours. For giving this much time to the community I won an award from the president and a medal from the school. In 8th grade I also won an award for being top of all math 8 classes that year. I am now class secretary in my high school class advisory group. In the future, my plan is to become a forensic scientist. I will have to take many science classes to work up to becoming one. In my sophomore year I took honors biology and honors chemistry, so I will be able to take AP classes in future years. Junior year I will be taking AP Chemistry and Senior year I will be taking AP Biology. I have taken a forensic science class based on my interest in the topic. My unweighted GPA for this year is a 4.0 and my class rank is 17 out of 192. My weighted GPA is a 4.73 and I'm ranked 25out of 192. I'm a very hard worker and I dedicate my time to making sure my work ethic is the best it can be. I am proud to be able to live up to my full potential as an athlete and a student. I'm someone who can take a challenge when its thrown at me and try my very best to hurdle over it.
