Personal Statement
I am a 5'4" Center Midfielder from Danville, NH. I started on the Timberlane Regional High School team two years ago, but was unable to play this past year due to planned knee surgeries. I play club soccer for Seacoast United as well as the Olympic Development Program state team. This past year I was invited to attend the Region 1 camp that was unfortunately unable to happen this summer, as a result I am now eligible to be selected for an Inter-Regional event in November. This year I have had the honor of representing my school on the New Hampshire Student Leadership Committee, a group of student athletes from around the state who meet monthly through NHIAA in order to try and make a difference in our communities. I have an unweighted 3.9 GPA and am ranked 8 out of 283 students in my class.
I am looking for an institution that has a high academic standard. I would prefer a school that has a Secondary Education major however, that will not be a deal breaker for me. Ideally, my athletic environment will be pretty competitive and I understand that I may not be able to make a large immediate impact on the team. I have always dreamed of playing soccer in college and I am very excited to take my talents to the next level.
