Personal Statement

My name is Ashlynn Newton and I am a Junior at Cumberland County Technical Education Center (CCTEC), where I am enrolled in the Health Science and Medicine program. Although I attend CCTEC for my classes, I play varsity soccer for my home high school which is Vineland High School. I have been a varsity team starter all 3 years.  I am also a member of the VHS varsity swim team and VHS varsity track and field team. 

I play club soccer for New Jersey Surf South Shore 2007 Girls  (USYS Nation League, Mid Atlantic Conference, Premier I). My primary position is wing (7 or 11) however, I also play attacking midfield (8 or 10) and forward (9).

My college goals include playing for a competitive soccer program and majoring in either Biology, Pre Med or Exercise Science.
