There have been two empowering actives in my life, Girl Scouts of America and soccer. Girl Scouts and soccer have been an integral part of my life since age 5 and are still a driving force for me today. Girl scouts has given me a strong sense of self worth, encouraged me to seek new challenges and to always display my positive values. I strive to achieve my Gold Award before the end of high school. Although I swam at a young age and played lacrosse as well, it was soccer which hooked me. I enjoy working as a team and making the "big pass". One of my main soccer characteristics is seeing the play and being able to adjust. This is one reason I was chosen by my peers to be a team captain.
As I prepare for my next step in a long journey, my goals have become more specific. I plan on enrolling into a B.S.N program, which will then lead into post graduate Nurse Practitioner program, as I want to work in a pediatric health practice. Hence, this is my interest in your school for higher learning. My reason to play soccer during my college years will enable me to stay fit both mentally and physically. Soccer will provide a healthy way to create connections with other scholars and provide for a unique college experience.
