My name is Jenna Abrams and I'm a 2021 grad and I currently have a 3.8 GPA. I am a fervent soccer player. I have represented Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro for the last 3 years, and I will continue playing soccer in my senior year. I have also been on a club soccer team since I was 8 years old playing competitive soccer all year long. My most recent achievement was winning 1st place in the 2019 Pennsylvania Classics Challenger Invitational Tournament. I have also mentored handicapped children in the Angels program in Saddle Brook teaching drills and small-sided 3 v. 3 games. In the future, I hope to continue playing soccer at the college level. My goal in college soccer is to play to my full ability, improve, and help my fellow players along the way. Among many things, soccer has taught me the importance of good leadership skills and hard work. Soccer has not only taught me the ins and outs of the game but also how to lead my team on the field and in my daily life. Improving myself on every level is my first priority, this means consistently practicing my game in order to get better. This mentality goes beyond the field and into my daily philosophy. Soccer has been able to introduce me to many of my friends and people with the same interests as me. In addition, it has allowed me to learn how to interact well with others and work to develop my passion for soccer. I love playing soccer and the feeling I get knowing I'm a member of a team. Being part of the soccer team helped me make friends and feel like I was part of the school's community. Lastly, soccer has taught me hard work and discipline.
