Personal Statement
I started playing soccer at the age of four and by the time I was nine, I was playing goalkeeper at a competitive level and discovered my love for the position. This position has allowed me to see things from a different point of view, not only on the field but off the field too. I have learned to be a leader by using my voice to uplift the girls, instead of putting them down. This position is demanding, but it allows me to be competitive and learn from my mistakes.
I am always challenging myself whether it be in academics, sports or training. I am driven to be the best that I can be, even if that means failing along the way. I maintain a 4.08 GPA and have made honor roll many times over the past three years.
I participate in several extracurricular activities outside of soccer such as lacrosse, volunteering my time, crossfit, and playing the piano. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. I believe it is important to keep a healthy balance of activities in my life so I don't get burnt out. Thank you for your consideration and for viewing my profile!
