Personal Statement
Hello my name is Emma Rocco. Ever since I was a child, I have always wanted to play college soccer. Nobody in my family has ever played a college sport and I would love to become the first. My goal in life is to attend a collage with a fairly good biology program to major in, taking me one step forward to becoming an orthodontist. It typically takes 4 years to obtain a bachelor's degree, another 4 years of dental school, and then 2 more years in a postdoctoral program devoted to the study of orthodontics. For the first two years of my high school journey, I attended Moriarty high school, at this school I acceld in most classes keeping my gpa a 3.99. My junior year I transferred to East Mountain high school; recognized as a National Blue Ribbon school. Although the transfer was different and nerve racking, I adapted quickly to the rigorous standards and have a 4.0 as of this school year. I have always been able to adapt quickly whether it be in school or on the pitch. This makes me a good candidate for a new soccer team, along with the fact I am coachable, hard working, and have a good sense of the game. I am never shy to the thought of improvements on my skills and techniques. I only spread positivity and help to enforce productivity and success, not only on, but off the field as well.
