Jenna Orr '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a very determined and hardworking athlete with a passion for soccer. I take the position of goal keeper seriously and know that the role I play on the field can make or break my team. My team relies on my ability to read the game, communicate with my defenders, and properly distribute the ball. They know I play every game with maximum effort and never give up. I am able to control the ball well with both my hands and my feet and I can determine when I have to come off the line and when to stay back. I am not afraid of contact and I am strong with the ball. I own the box, closing down the angles and quickly recovering from shots. I have a great range of skills and am more than just a shot stopper. I’m comfortable receiving the ball across my body and distributing it to my teammates, always trying to set them up for the next play. I push myself to be the best by working hard on and off the field. As an individual I have lots of skills and a great mindset. During my soccer career, I have achieved many great accomplishments. For example, my team has been back to back State Champions for the 2019 and 2021 State Cup. We have also made it into the National League P.R.O. for the 2021-2022 season by placing top 2 in the EDP League. Off the field I am an accomplished student too. I have been on the High Honor Roll all throughout my years in middle and high school and I enjoy participating in extracurricular activities in my school like the 2024 Class Senate and the Environmentally Conscious Organization of Students Club.
