The most influential person in my soccer career is my Travel Coach, Stacey Feighan. Through her, I have learned the value of consistent hard work, sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and the love of the game. I was taught to not focus on individual wins and losses, but to set and reach for individual goals as well as team goals. Each practice, each win, each loss, is an opportunity to learn and improve. Selfish, disrespectful, and unsupportive individuals do not make a team that reaches serious goals. And they are not people I enjoy playing with
It is my ability to set and work toward goals that has driven me forward. I am a great teammate both on and off the field, because I keep these goals in sight. My teammates listen to me with trust and confidence, not just because of my skills, but because they know that I have the goals of our TEAM in mind. Keeping my love of the game of soccer within the vision of competition allows me to show respect for ALL coaches, ALL teammates, ALL opponents, and ALL officials. I constantly learn from these individuals and adjust my game to create success. I would love to bring my skills, knowledge, and passion for the game to your team!
