Amelia McDonald '20 Recruiting Profile

Sports are a huge part of my life, from kindergarten to present I have spent countless hours on the field. I have been on many different teams and clubs and have had the opportunity to work with many different types of players and coaches that have helped shape the player and person I have become. I believe a bond within a team is crucial to a team's success.  Being on so many different teams I have learned that each member of a team  plays an essential role in the success of the team, not only through their talents, but also through their character and support for their teammates.  I like to believe that my character has been molded through my years of experience on multiple teams, the captains, coaches, and character awards I have received seem to agree. I also pride myself on my academics, although my grades may not be as outstanding as those of other recruits, but I pride myself on them nonetheless as to me they are the result of my hard-work, as academics aren't something that come super easily to me.
