My name is Alyssa Pritchard. Currently I am a Freshmen at the Palmyra-Macedon High School. My goals for college are to get my degree in law or education. I love working with kids but I also love helping people through tough times. I say this because when I was around three years old I was taken from my biological Mom and Dad with my brother who was only one. We went from foster home to foster home always moving around and never getting too attatched to things. Until I was 6 when my other brother was born, my uncle and my aunt on my biological moms side adopted my two brothers and I. I wish someone would have helped us sooner. So that's what I want to do. I want to help kids get through things faster so they do not have to experience what happened to me.
In college I would also love to play soccer. Soccer is a major part of my life. I have put so much time and effort into soccer. I play all year-round with my school. I am mostly defensive center midfield or defense when I play but I am also trained to be a goalie and can play where I am needed. I have been on JV since 7th grade. And I have always been a starter. My 7th grade year I was an outside midfielder, 8th grade year I was half goalie and half outside defender and now I am a stopper or defensive center midfield. I am a Captain this year and last year I was Co-Captain. My coach told me I was chosen for Captain because I was the working horse. I was to work my hardest to out run and show more effort than anyone on my team, leading by example. I was also told that during that I had to be positive and lift up my teammates. And now for my next fall season of 2025 I will be on Varsity.
I also play lacrosse and basketball. For both of my modified teams as an 8th grade, I was a Captain. In my school I am a straight A student. I do many extracurricular activities outside of school. I am in three different band groups and two different chorus groups. During summer 2024 I was babysitting and was a referee for U10 girls and helped coach U10 boys.
