Hello, my name is Danielle Antia. I started playing soccer when I was 3 years old. At the age of 9, I started playing for the Town Of Poughkeepsie Blue Dragons Girls Travel Soccer Team where I am currently a starter at left center back. When I started my freshman year of high school in September 2022, I joined the Roy C. Ketcham Senior High School Girls JV Soccer Team. For this team, I was a starter at left center back. My coaches for all of my teams notice my stamina therefore I rarely get subbed out of games. Academically, I have been in honors classes since 7th grade. In 8th grade, I earned two high school credits, one for earth science and one for Algebra 1. As a sophomore, I am taking all Honors classes. For my college career, I would like to go to a D3 school for women's soccer so I can focus more on my academics but still be actively playing soccer. Even though it is still early for me to decide, the major I am considering is Biology for pre-med with the hopes of becoming a pediatrician and a minor in Spanish. During my years of playing soccer, I have developed a passion for the sport and I hope to have the opportunity to play for my entire college career.
