Lune Denhartog '25 Recruiting Profile

I was born in the Netherlands where I played soccer with boys from age 4. I moved to America around age 6 and played soccer almost the whole time. Academically I have all A's and my Unweighted GPA is 4.0/4.0. My time at ECNL has had ups and downs. I first started on the Courage DA and got moved down after the COVID-19 year. On ECNL I played Centerback and that season we won against the Courage 1-0. I have now been playing on ECNL for the past 3 years as a Center back and Outside back. My coach Derek Leader is an ex-college coach and has helped tremendously. Overall, I am in love with this sport and any time I can I will watch it, mostly my favorite team Liverpool. I am hoping that someday I can become a coach and give back to the community and help kids that can't pay for ECNL level. I am extremely grateful that I can play at this level and I hope I can someday help kids out so they can play as well. I am also interested in history and specifically as I like to call it, the Mysteries of history. With free time I love reading, writing, watching movies, playing video games, and going on nature walks.
