Hello! My name is Olivia Trahan and I have been playing soccer since I was 4. At around 10, I moved to Garner, NC and began playing for CASL, now known as NCFC. For the past two years I have been playing challenge soccer with NCFC Fusion 03 and 02. As of fall 2020 I am playing indoor soccer with XL World to stay conditioned for high school soccer in the spring. I have been playing on the junior varsity team since 2018, my freshman year. This 2021 season I am hoping to get moved up to varsity. Throughout my soccer career, I have always been able to quickly adapt to any needs of my team, so I play anywhere and everywhere, all the time. Thus, my coaches have said that I'm easily coachable and won't ever complain about where I'm put. I don't just agree with feedback, I change and adapt immediately because of it. I always bring good energy and an encouraging attitude to every game and practice. Besides being in goal, I have mostly played striker or wing defender, but really I can and will play anywhere. My hard work and determination to give 110% to everything I commit myself to has carried through all of my extracurriculars, soccer career, and academic career. I bring that same energy to the field and execute it.
