Tenley Bostwick '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Tenley Bostwick. I am a junior in high school at Crest High School in Shelby, NC. I play for Charlotte Independence Soccer Club on the 05/06 North Mecklenburg Blue team. This team is a premier level team. Ever since I started playing soccer around the age of 4, I have loved it. I’ve moved around teams and positions and I notice my most comfortable place is outside back or some place in defense. 

I am a very positive and supportive player. I try to keep my teammates around me in a good mindset while keeping a good mindset myself. Not only do I keep the positivity and smiles on the field, I keep the work on the field too. I focus in and out of practice, working out in the gym or getting touches at the fields. This extra work has given me the chance to make Varsity and start all my years of high school so far. 

My college plans are currently still in the thought process. I know for a fact I want to play somewhere; I’m most comfortable at smaller schools. I am currently looking into Pre-Pharmacy or Pre-Physical Therapy / Kinesiology though or something with a Biology/Biochemistry/Chemistry background.
