My goals in not only college but in life are to always go the extra mile. This mindset helped me through months and months of physical therapy, and I've seen it shape people into amazing well rounded individuals. Watching documentaries focused on certain athletes always opens my eyes because all of them went that extra mile to get where they are today and I hope that I can continue to go the extra mile not only to be someone's role model in life but to know I did all I could do. Going that extra mile not only on the field but also off. Pushing myself has always been easy when others are counting on me but I'd like it to be easy even when it's just myself. Seeing my role models push themselves on the field gives me the desire to do the same. Yet not for kids to look up to me because I'm playing college soccer, or my skills, but for them to know that when they're injured having to go through months of physical therapy, or having to stay off the field due to a concussion, that I've been there in their shoes and got through it by pushing through and so can them.
