EDEN KEAGY '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Eden and live in Charlotte, NC. I am currently in my sophomore year at Marvin Ridge Highschool and have been playing soccer since I was six years old. I am on the Junior Varsity team and made it as a freshman and looking forward to my sophomore season.  I have played several positions over the years, but my favorite is center back.  My plan is to spend the next couple of years focused on what I’d like to pursue as a major and continue to achieve a high academic standing as I head into college. Currently I am interested in exploring more about the medical field as well as business. And of course, I am dedicated to honing my soccer skills. I have a strong leg and enjoy setting up plays so I will continue to perfect those skills while improving my overall knowledge of the game. I feel I position myself well as a center back and work to strategically anticipate where the ball handler will be so I can get there first. I am excited to continue growing with my team at CSA and work alongside my teammates as I believe in team first. I am driven, dedicated, and committed to work hard with self-discipline and spend the time I need to improve.   I had a great first two years at CSA and currently in getting ready for high school compe this spring.  Coach Yusef at CSA taught me a lot.   I look forward to communicating with college recruiters and coaches and while searching for where I’d like to go to college.  Both academics and playing time are important.   But most of all I want a great college experience with quality coaches, teammates and friends. 

I am now on the Marvin Ridge Junior Varsity team and playing several defensive roles.   I am excited that some of my CSA teammates on my team also play for Marvin Ridge and will continue to make each other better.   We have a strong team and look forward to this season.
