Emma Hone '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Emma Hone! I am a 3 sport varsity athlete participating in Soccer, Track, and cheer at Marlington High School.  Out of all 3 soccer is my passion. I play soccer all year round. When I’m not in season with my school I play for Canton Akron United Force 07 Blue. My main position is outside mid, left or right side. But my second position is Striker which I play pretty often as well. One of my biggest strengths is my speed. So I float a lot between winger and striker. I believe I have a very strong work ethic. I give 100% on and off the field. When I’m not at practice or a game I’m constantly training.  I believe I’m very coachable and take criticism very well. I know everyday I am learning and working towards becoming a stronger Athlete as well as a well rounded individual. There is always room to grow & learn. I’m also a huge team player and strive to be a positive role model and teammate for my team. 

Academically I have always worked very hard and am currently enrolled and taking college courses as well as all honors classes. I am very focused on academics and sports. 

 My goal is to continue my collegiate career in soccer post high school and continue to build as an athlete and excel academically. I am the athlete that will never give up. I will continue to work hard and continue to strengthen my skills. I am very focused. Im 100% committed to soccer and my academic career. Playing at the collegiate level is an incredible opportunity to continue to grow as an athlete and as individual. To be apart of something even bigger.
