Addison Hamm '25 Recruiting Profile

My love for soccer began at age 4. This was my first experience with a sport and soccer has always been my favorite. I am a 3 sport athlete participating in soccer, basketball and track. Each season and level of play I look forward to what the sport brings as an individual and being part of that team. I am known as always playing with a smile on my face and have been given the nickname "Giggles". The joy soccer brings to my life is seen in the relationships I have with my coaches and teammates on and off the field. I started as a defender as I have always been fast, controlled and intelligent with the ball. I have progressed to being a forward and winger for the last few years. I enjoy these positions as an assist is just as exciting as scoring a goal to me. Soccer plays an important role in my family as my brother and I have played since we were 4, my mother Lindy played in college and my mother Brandy manages my club team. My sophomore year was the most exciting for soccer as my high school team advanced the farthest in tournament play for our school to date, my club team advanced to Colorado for NPL nationals and I had the opportunity to play in Northern Ireland at the Super Cup. These experiences taught me to never give up and stay positive and encouraging. Last year I also learned I was accepted into the Advancement to Nursing program at my high school. This opportunity will help me prepare for the nursing program in college. I have always been able to manage athletics, sometimes 3 practices a night, and academics and am looking forward to continuing as a student-athlete in college.
