Personal Statement
I have been passionate about soccer since age 5, when I started playing rec. Although there were years where we won 5 tournaments and a majority of our games, the moment I grew most mentally as a player was when I got demoted to a team who didn't get along well and lost a lot of games. This experience taught me that I can't always rely on my team, and it allowed me to be more confident and start trying things myself, on and off the field. On the field, there are a few things that distinguish me from other players on my team and make me a unique player. For example, I have above average field vision, I see things that other people can't, and I'm very strong out of the air. I'm also faster with the ball than without it.
