I am a talented competitor always looking for a new challenge to conquer. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I am currently playing at a high level and I want to continue playing at the collegiate level. I am looking for a challenge as a player and student.
Throughout the years, I have always been placed on a higher level teams and played at a high level. I am currently playing in two National leagues. I play in U.S. Youth’s Great Lakes Conference in the Premier I Division of their National League. I also play in the Premier Division of U.S. Club’s Great Lakes Alliance, which is part of their National Premier League.
Strengths that I can offer to a college team is that I have a strong work ethic, focus and never give up attitude - both on and off the pitch. I also have good leadership skills. I am the captain of my club soccer team. My strongest attributes on the field are my 1v1 moves, footwork, creative passing, and 360° vision. I am constantly pointing out to my coach what I see in the flow of the game and what adjustments can be made to improve our team’s performance. My coach and parents have told me that I would be a great soccer coach someday because I see and understand what is going on on the pitch. I am currently playing striker, but I also will rotate into an attacking midfielder occasionally.
When picking the right college, I would ideally want to stay in the Midwest region. Although, I am open-minded to places outside of the region. I already know that I would like to study equine sciences, although I am also very interested in animal science. I am wanting to major in this as I would like to become an equine veterinarian when I am older! I take my academics very seriously, as I like to keep my GPA high and remain in my private high school's scholar program by taking honors and AP classes. Having this kind of work load at one of the best private high schools in Cincinnati and playing at the highest levels of club soccer at the same time is preparing me for the challenges of balancing college course work and playing collegiate soccer.
Ultimately, my goal is to make an positive impact on the team as a student athlete first and become an example and leader for others around me. The game of soccer has provided me with so much growth over the years, and I would like to continue that theme throughout college.
