Brooke Garey Socc...Personal Statement
I believe in hard work and extreme focus and I demand it from myself and my teammates. I am the first person on the practice field taking extra shots and the last one to leave after running extra sprints. I want to be the best I can be and am not afraid to work to get there. I find a special satisfaction in passing the ball and setting up my teammates to score. I also take my academics as seriously as I take soccer. I have played for the Cleveland Whitecaps club team for 7 years and have been the captain for the last 4 years. I regularly lead the team in assists and am one of the top goal scorers as well. My club team competes in tournaments around the state of Ohio as well as tournaments out of state. Note: My uncle was a member of the professional indoor team the Cleveland Crunch and played collegiately at the University of Akron. My aunt played collegiately at the University of Charleston, WV and my dad played baseball at the University of Charleston, WV.
