Marissa Young '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm interested in attaining a degree in the medical field (undecided on specific field of study). Since an early age I have been amazed by the complexity of the human body and want to help people better their lives. I'm currently taking advanced classes in school to better prepare myself for the extremely competitive medical field. I am dedicated to working hard at improving my soccer skills to make myself and my team better. ODP evaluating coaches have said that I "have a very high soccer IQ" and "get the way the game should be played" (Matthew Kutner), "have developed a strong technical foundation, and that your first touch is one of your solid aspects of the game" (Kirk Brazeau), "excellent vision for the constructive forward pass and the composure to play yourself out of trouble whenever possible" (Dr. Tom Turner, Director of Coaching of ODP Ohio North)
