Personal Statement
My name is Jenna Beane. I am 17 years old and I'm a junior in high school. Some of my main goals for the future include playing soccer at the college level and become a therapist. I have lead my high school soccer team in goals scored for the past 3 seasons. I am a very diverse player and can play any position I am put in. My preferred position is forward. Freshmen year I made second-team all LCL, all league, and I was the offensive player of the year. My sophomore year I made third team all league. I won offensive player of the year. My junior year I recieved first team all league and third team all districts. I have been nominated for district player of the week multiple times. Junior year I also received offensive player of the year, again. My favorite thing about myself as a player is my leadership abilities. I'm an excellent communicator on and off the field to my teammates.
During the later summer and throughout the fall months I am training with my high school team. In the spring, winter, and earlier summer months I train and play with my club team, PFC Extreme. I have been with my travel team for 10 years now.
As for academics, I manage a 4.0 for a majority of the year and get on honor roll or the dean's list. I am in all honors classes, AP classes, or college credit classes. I will end my junior year with 6 college credits. I plan on taking all college-level classes my senior year (2021-2022). I plan on majoring in counseling or psychology to obtain my bachelors degree. After obtaining my BA, I plan to get my masters degree and licensure to become a marriage and family therapist. In my off time, I tutor with my younger siblings and work with FCCLA, Family, Career and Community leaders of America, for community service hours. Over the summer, I work my summer job in-between two-a-days for high school soccer.
