Personal Statement
What do people say about me…………
First and foremost, I am someone that can be counted upon and trusted. This is true in my personnel life within my family, in school work (both individually and in groups), and on the athletic fields or courts on which I have spent much of my youth.
When people watch me play soccer you would hear that I play without any inhibition, willing to sacrifice herself to make the play. Naturally athletic abilities create great offensive plays, her touches are often uniquely created, she uses all aspects of her body to win control of the ball or advance it accurately in to space and also to her teammates, she is a non-selfish passer on offense and uses her basketball training to defend, steal, or see the entire field. Her teammates and coaches would say she is a good teammate, very coachable, and she builds camaraderie within the team with her humor and outgoing personality.
What I say about me…..
I work extremely hard to meet my goals academically and on the field. I am a well rounded teenager who enjoys The Jackson School of Arts program at my high school; which, has taught me discipline and how to multi task. My normal day involves getting up at 5:45am to start a long day of focus and hard work and finishes with sporting activities and school work. I am proud that I have maintained high grades (ending this school year with a 3.96) while being a multi-sport athlete. I have a self confidence that has propelled me to be the only one of 4 children in my family to break the small private school mold and attend a large public school because I wanted to compete on the highest possible level in soccer. I appreciate my family and strong support of my parents to pursue what I love in school and in soccer.
If given the chance I am confident that I can continue to grow my skills on and off the field and be a strong teammate playing the sport I have enjoyed since I was 3 years old. Give me a chance I won’t disappoint you!
