Personal Statement
My name is Ashleigh Richter. I am a senior at Western Brown High School, which is located in Mt. Orab, Ohio. My current GPA is a 3.67 and I received a 22 on my ACT.
I have been playing soccer since I was in Kindergarten and have not missed a season since. I started playing at the club level when I was in the 6th grade. I am very competitive and give 110% of myself on and off the field. I do everything I can to help my teammates. I consider myself a leader that is upbeat and positive. I love being part of a team that supports each other on the soccer field and off. I am dedicated to whatever I put my mind to.
My college goal is to pursue a degree in Conservation Science, with a minor in Political Science and play soccer, while maintaining my GPA. I am dedicated in achieving these goals, due to my driven passion for animals and wildlife conservation. I have volunteered at the Cincinnati Zoo over the past four years, where I have learn many important aspects of wildlife conservation.
I plan on playing college soccer not only for the love I have of the sport, but to continue to be part of a team. I am looking forward to what college has to offer me academically and athletically.
