My name is Aubrey Shyanne Pierce. I play volleyball and soccer. I am different in character for the reason being I am very big on standing up for what I believe in. Bullying, is a great example of this. Bullying is unacceptable. No one deserves to be treated poorly for any reason. It's the golden rule, treat others as you would like to be treated. I am sure to always stand up against bullying.
To achieve, is to never give up. I NEVER give up on what my goal is I am trying to accomplish. I had a friend once who showed me a neat little soccer trick which he referred to as "The Rainbow". I was so determined to learn how to execute this trick, and a year later I could. I ran in a relay marathon in 2012 with 6 other people. I remember having the longest leg in the race. It was in November and I will never forget how cold it was that day. The wind stung as it hit my legs. My leg of the race was approximately 7 miles, and through the 5th mile I wanted to stop and walk the rest of the race. I didn't though, and the feeling of accomplishment at the end was all worth it, all because I didn't give up.
I have always carried A's and B's through out my schooling career. This year I am attending central tech and taking Heath Careers Certification. By the end of this year I will have my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). I study incredibly hard, I work hard in class, I pay attention, and I am very dedicated to my studies. I am making A's this year in all of my classes, including Trigonometry (which is quite amazing considering math has been my worst subject since 1st grade). I can not count the amount of times I have stayed up all night studying and even stayed super late after school. I do not settle for less than I know I can achieve, and I know I can achieve the high grades I do deserve.
After high school I plan to go to college and get a degree in nursing. After college I will become a Flight Nurse or an Acute Nurse Practitioner. I am not sure where I wish to attend college yet.
I have many goals and dreams I will accomplish, and I can promise you I am a good candidate for your team. I will not dissappoint.
