Personal Statement

Since I first started playing soccer, I knew I wanted to play at a high level and take the sport as far as possible.  Over the past 9 years, I have always had a ball at my feet, been constantly looking to improve myself, and have found inspiration in successful soccer players; after reflecting on my soccer journal I kept as a kid, I realized all of my role models growing up had these in common: they are coachable, competitive, extremely hard working, and have a growth mindset. These are virtues and mentalities I have worked towards and strive to bring to the field every day.
