Ashley McDonald '20 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

My name is Ashley McDonald.

I currently play for Michigan Burn in the National League (Midwest Region). I’m a very versatile player and have played every position. I’m quick, agile, and a very strong defender. My preferred positions are Center Midfield and Center Back.  My strengths are winning balls and distributing to my teammates, dribbling, passing and shooting with both feet, as you can see in my highlight video’s. I’m a very competitive player that will always put my best effort in. I’ve been told that I’m a great teammate, communicator, leader and that I’m very coachable. I love to do extra things to help myself and others improve their game. I have helped my Dad run soccer camps for underprivileged kids. I currently and will continue to volunteer for my club in helping coach children from the ages 3-6 learn the basic soccer skills. 

I would love to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level and study Psychology.  I believe I will be able to bring my skills not only to the soccer field but to the classroom as well. I’m excited and eager to experience new things and continue doing what I love.
