Gracie Howell '24 Recruiting Profile

My love of soccer started at an early age, and my love for the beautiful game has only become stronger. My father and I are die-hard Manchester United fans! A perfect weekend for me includes a training session, playing in a game, hanging out with friends and catching a Man U game. 

I am interested in attending a top-tier college that matches my academic and athletic aspirations. I am not done growing yet as a person and want a challenge to help take me to new heights! 

Academically I am very interested in criminology and law. This year I currently have the highest mark in law for my whole school and will likely get the law award (98%). My goal is to become a Crown Attorney. 

I am a highly technical, attack-minded, left-footed full-back who plays with simplicity. I make calculated attacking runs that can unbalance the opponent's defence. My awareness, passing range & accuracy are vital aspects of my game and helps my team exploit spaces behind defensive lines. Defensively, I am precise & tidy, never overcomplicating 1v1 situations and always in the right positions. I am energetic, quick, and intelligent. My love of the game has made the time and effort I put into training come easily. I am a dedicated, hardworking, and cheery person who is most at home on a pitch with my teammates.

I continue to grow as a person and player. This year I am one of two team captains on one of the best U17 girl's teams in the top competition in Ontario. My work ethic and attitude mean I am not done growing yet. I am looking for a school and team to challenge me, so we can make each other better.
